David is a native "Vermonter" yet also called Maine home for 19 years before moving to Asheville with his wife, Alister.  With their two children grown and on their own,  they decided to relocate to a more "civilized" climate and to join NorthStar Financial & Retirement Planning.

David's career has consisted of 35+ years in various business management positions including regional sales manager for a Fortune 500 company.  His responsibilities throughout his career has included general, financial, sales, and personnel  (which included retirement and insurance planning) management.

David is North Carolina licensed in Life and Health, Long-Term Care and Medicare Supplement.
