George has been a resident of the upstate for six years, having moved here from Wilmington, NC.  He and his wife Meredith have four beautiful children.  The oldest is a rising sophmore at the University of South Carolina. 

After college, George was in management with a Fortune 500 company, eventually becoming a branch manager of a large insurance company  in Greenville, SC.   He formed NorthStar Financial & Retirement Planning, LLC, in 2007 to provide the best insurance,  fixed and fixed index annuitiy  products for his clientele.

With over fourteen years experience, George is able to comfortably guide his clients to a more relaxed and secure retirement situation.  

George  teaches an adult education class at North Greenville University.   The 7 1/2  hour course is titled "The ABC's of Conservative Investing".  He  also  hosts a weekly radio  program (Thursday's 9:00am-10:00am )  on WHKP Talk Radio in Hendersonville discussing the current week's news and how it may impact those of us who are preparing to enter or are currently in retirement.

George is active in scouting and is proud to have achieved the rank of Eagle.  He enjoys golf, fishing and camping.
